Student-led Clubs

Student clubs are an essential part of student life. AUPP welcomes the contributions of student clubs and aims to promote a lively, creative, and inclusive range of activities, as well as provide support, resources, and guidance for club leaders to manage their clubs effectively.

At AUPP, clubs are created based on mutual student interest and AUPP community need and can be classified as one of the following:

Academic: The active participation of a student in almost any academic club whether it is a history club or psychology or environment or a math club has the main objective of helping students expand their knowledge in a particular academic sphere. The benefit of being a member of such a club is that you gain valuable academic knowledge about a certain field outside of lectures and classes through a variety of activities.
Physical: Participating in a particular sport in college, whether that’s soccer to basketball to badminton to tennis is a fantastic addition to your resume because it clearly emulates that you are a team player. Employers are quick to pick out this trait in potential employees because every company requires its employees to collaborate effectively to achieve its objectives. Employers also prefer students who have demonstrated the ability to combine both academics and an activity that they are passionate about.
Social Action: Social action clubs at AUPP involve students coming together to improve their lives and assist in solving the problems that are important in organizations or communities in need. It can include volunteering, fundraising, raising awareness, and community action. Through participation in social action activities, we will empower our communities, encourage student's social development, higher levels of wellbeing, and improve one’s confidence and skills.
Creative: Creative clubs offer students the opportunity to learn new skills, share creative ideas, perform, and express themselves in dance, art, music, creative writing, drama, art, photography, and more. It is through being creative that we can put our senses, sensibility, and spirit to work together.
