Prohim Tam

Prohim Tam received his B.S. degree with the Department of Management of Information Systems from Paragon International University, Phnom Penh, Cambodia, in 2019. He completed his master’s and Ph.D. degrees in the Department of Software Convergence at Soonchunhyang University in Asan, South Korea, in 2024. During his academic journey, he also began his IT intern job at the Cambodia Securities Exchange in 2017, worked as an application developer on integrated AI-based annotation techniques, abnormal detection systems, and policy recommendation models for the National Information Society Agency and the Korean Health Panel Study from 2020 to 2022, and has been actively contributing to R&D projects with Mobile Computing & Networking Lab since 2019 until now (under grants of IITP, NRF, and BK21)

He is passionate about research and has authored several articles published with IEEE, Springer, MDPI, Wiley, and other reputable peer-reviewed journals. He also actively contributes as a reviewer to the research community. His research interests include 5G/6G, privacy-preserving learning policies, applied AI in network services and management, and emerging network security in SDN/NFV.
