Professor Mark T. Knapp teaches Law and Human Rights at AUPP. He has practiced Law for nearly 4 decades, with a specialization in Immigration Law. He holds his Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh, USA ,as well as a Masters in Human Rights from the Global Campus of Human Rights and Democratization in Venice, Italy, in addition to a Masters of Social-Legal History from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelors in Applied History at CMU in the USA. His most recent work has been with UNESCO in Paris France in the area of the Freedom and Safety of Scientists as well as a research interest in the Right to Vote and voter suppression. He is married with three adult children and enjoys international travel, is an avid trail runner and choral singer.
